Green Week 2008 will take a closer look at the sustainable use of natural resources, focusing on waste management, sustainable consumption and production. It will take place in the Charlemagne building of the European Commission (170 rue de la Loi, 1049 Brussels) from Tuesday 3 rd (mid-day) until Friday 6 th of June (mid-day).

The DG Research has, since November 2007, a new Portal for Sustainable Development : This web portal is the entry point to consolidated information on FP7's contribution to sustainable development.

The EU AFRICA SUMMIT from 7 Dec. to 9 Dec. 2007 held in Lisbon, Portugal, is the first between the EU and Africa in seven years.
