Make golf greener: yes. How? Institutional integration and biostimulation in sport turf
This programme area looks at the current greening trends in the European golf industry. It focuses on the institutions that determine the development of a selected type of eco-innovation for integrated management of golf playing surfaces: turf biostimulation.
Research funded by the European Union through the research and technological development project 'Integrated Development of Agricultural and Rural Institutions' (IDARI, QLRT-2002-02718).
Also see the project Grassroots which aims to continue research in this field, and a work lead by one of our interns related to golf course accreditation.
