Major analysis urges fundamental rethinking of agriculture globally

Food production per capita has globally increased in the last decades. Has hunger decreased accordingly?

A major evaluation carried out between 2005 and 2007: the International Assessment of Agricultural Science and Technology for Development (IAASTD), co-sponsored by the FAO, GEF, UNDP, UNEP, UNESCO, the World Bank and WHO, addresses this question and advocates radical change.
